At our local pool there are 2 tiny "family" change-rooms which are impossible to get into because of the heavy demand for them. Now that my older boy is over 7 and technically not allowed in the womens' change room I ham having similar problems to the Dads. Call me crazy, but I feel deeply uneasy sending him off by himself to the Mens' Change-room; what happened to that poor

I used Freehand YEARS ago (don't think it exists anymore, but it was a competitor to Illustrator). I use Inkscape now, and while you initially have to look around to find comparative features, it's a pretty darn good replacement for an Illustrator-type program. It's excellent considering it's free. I use it for my electronic cutter, but it does so much more than I've even used

I want to try an Artplay workshop next hols. We took the kids to Birrarung Marr at about the same time you were visiting Barbie I reckon but we didn't bother taking the boys anywhere near the House of Pink, we let them skip rocks in the Yarra and jump and climb on the play equipment instead.
